Organic claims are useful only when they are specific. A mattress can contain GOLS-certified organic latex without every layer being organic, while GOTS claims may apply to textiles or to a finished product depending on scope.
Start with the certificate, not the adjective
GOLS relates to organic latex, while GOTS covers organic textiles and processing requirements. Certification logos are strongest when a brand identifies the certified material, standard and certification details rather than using “organic” as a vague umbrella term.

Do not forget comfort
